The Metro proudly presents a news story that absolutely must make you grin like a loon. It's a photo of an otter with a video camera. Nothing more needs to be said.

"Otterly amazing! We hate ourselves for even thinking about writing that caption."

Ooops! Someone's been a bit cheeky!

"How do you say Vimeo in French? Google Translate thinks it is pronounced “YouTube.” It is translating the English sentence “videos on Vimeo” into “des videos sur YouTube” when prompted to translate from English to French. When you try to translate Vimeo alone (not in a sentence), the French translation results in “Vimeo.” But in a sentence, Google translates Vimeo into “YouTube”."

Oooh! Just what we need - another directory telling us where to find good videos!!

Whilst we may occasionally mention videos that are spectacularly good, we're not going to fill the already overflowing pool of online video review sites that are out there. But, as NewTeeVee reports, eGuiders seem to think that we want more!

Cnet and Twice.com report on some of Canon's new camcorder models, and point out that you can buy underwater housing for them. I can't see them being adopted on a huge basis though, especially as they cost US$599! Eep!

I don't think you need me to patronise you and tell you how evil it is that some kids can be so screwed up to do something so sickening, but it looks like a couple of teenagers that decided to stick a video of themselves smacking the hell out of a cat on YouTube got their arses handed to them on a plate...

"4chan matched the offending YouTube account to another account, identified both perpatrators on Facebook and MySpace by their real names, and then proceeded to post their address, parents’ names and phone numbers on the internet."
