I've had a flick through the T&Cs, and, for a change, this film making competition appears to be international (though please correct me if I'm wrong). "Independent filmmaking organization Filmaka has launched a competition inviting aspiring filmmakers to send in three-minute short films that could be expanded into TV series. This month's competition takes the theme 'Hard Times'; Filmaka is hunting for ideas that could potentially become long-running digital TV series, in partnership with UK company Digital Rights Group." |

The Sadler's Wells Theatre in London has launched an international competition to find the best person to shake shake shake their booty and upload it to Youtube. I have no doubt that they'll display plenty of the worst ones for our amusement, but The Daily Telegraph tells all. "It is hoping that budding performers from Rio to Reykjavik will upload their routines online in an effort to win a place on the famous London stage. " |
