Listen to that Rumour mill cranking up again... "Two separate sites seem to be in consistency with a rumor on Final Cut Studio 3 being released shortly. However, Apple is said to initially release a 32-bit version of the suite testing updates to the video software. Soon after, a 64-bit Final Cut Studio 3 will allegedly be compatible only with Snow Leopard due to system requirements." |

Following on from The Unofficial Apple Weblog's story on Monday, Register Hardware have put the Elgato Turbo.264 HD Hi-def H.264 encoder on their bench, poked it, prodded it, then inserted it into their Mac to see whether it could live up to it's promises. 
"Turbo.264 HD's camcorder support continues with the ability to drive a connected camera to extract AVCHD footage from it." |
